Three things worth knowing before you go further.
Programmes are taught in Romanian
There are no English-taught degree programmes. Applicants who do not speak Romanian take a preparatory language year, offered by Romanian universities, before enrolling.
Degrees are nationally accredited
The university is accredited by Law 116/2005 and evaluated by ARACIS. Degrees carry the European Diploma Supplement and are recognised across the European Higher Education Area.

How to apply
Applying from abroad works a little differently. Your previous studies need to be recognised first, by the Ministry of Education, and then you apply to the university.
About the university
Founded in 1992, fully accredited and part of Romania’s national higher education system.
Andrei Șaguna University was founded in 1992 as the first private, non-profit university in south-east Romania. It takes its name from Andrei Șaguna, the 19th-century Metropolitan of Transylvania who founded schools across the region. The university and its foundation sought his canonisation from 1993, and he was declared a saint in 2011.

You can study for a bachelor’s or master’s degree, and graduates who want a second qualification can take a professional conversion programme.
